Veteran Teen Missions team leader and volunteer Otis Crutchfield went home to be with the Lord on May 4th in Versailles, Kentucky. He was 92. He is survived by his daughters Yvonne Phillips and Mary Stephens. Otis’ friend, Myrl Allinder (also a former Teen Missions leader / volunteer) reported that Otis served in the Coast Guard during WW II and also served as a missionary in PNG. Says Mr. Allinder, “Otis was a witness to every person he met. He was certainly a witness of a Christian gentleman to me.” Otis was a cheerful volunteer at numerous summer Boot Camps with Teen Missions International. He served as a team leader in the 1990’s to Bermuda, Canada and Madagascar. He also volunteered at the South African national Boot Camp in 1999. Teen Missions International is grateful for the years of faithful service that Otis provided. His efforts helped to impact thousands of teens for eternity. We wish to express our condolences to his family knowing that our time of separation, while painful, need only be temporary — remembering with thanks, the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Former co-workers or team members may leave a note or sign the guest book at the Clark Legacy Center website.
