The weeks are flying by and spring has arrived! I’m so glad that those of you who had to endure such an extreme winter around the country have finally gotten some relief!
Here at Teen Missions International, we have begun preparations for Boot Camp which will be here in just days! We’re all very excited to meet our team members and get to our summer destinations. Leaders were needed for the Australia team, so I will be leading that team instead of the Motorcycle Team, so NO motorcycles for me this year. 🙂 I will have an opportunity to see the Sunday Schools at a later date and am very excited to head to our base in Australia. We will be doing several work projects to help the mission training center and youth camp there at the Teen Missions base. We will also have opportunities to share in public schools and local churches which will give us the chance to use the evangelistic skills we will learn at Boot Camp. So far, there are 16 teens signed up for this team. Please pray for them as they raise support and make other preparations prior to making their way to Florida.
The Motorcycle Sunday School Mission Department had the opportunity to take part in Biker Sunday at a local church. It was such a fun day with a great message, good food, and a chance to meet a lot of people. The church has a wonderful ministry to the biker community here and it was such a blessing to be part of this special Sunday.
I survived my first Big Top Day! I’m really not sure how much help I was, but it was definitely a new experience for me and I got dirty enough that you would think I was a huge help!! It’s exciting to see things begin to take shape for the 638 people registered so far this year! They’ll be here soon and we will be ready for them!
Our office has been busy writing reports for our Sunday School sponsors, packing crayons and eyeglasses to be taken overseas this summer, and making our own preparations for Boot Camp. We will be teaching all the team members in our Bush Sunday School to show them what it’s like to conduct our Sunday school and phonics program.
The BIG news for me this spring is that I have a new grandson! Camden Reid Tully was born on April 5 and he is SOOO cute! He and his big sister, four-year-old Aleah, are just as precious as they can be. This makes a dozen grandchildren for me. I am so blessed!
I am so excited to be a part of this ministry! Thank you so much for your financial support! Please continue to pray for me and the rest of the Teen Missions staff as we travel and minister all over the world this summer!
