Chinaka, Charles & Dorcas Newsletter (Spring 2014)

Each one should be careful on how he builds. I Corinthians 3:10b

Dear Friends,

I am so glad to have this time to reach out to you with good wishes at heart. We thank God so much for your support in our ministry. We had a wonderful Boot Camp this year. I taught music while Dorcas taught kids how to use puppets. It is a wonderful thing to see lives being changed, and to see some being freed from the hand of the devil. We led a team that served with the Brethren in Christ Church. We helped with making blocks for their new church. We worked so hard with little stops because of the rains. This year we are receiving good rains and we are expecting a good harvest this year.

The Rescue Unit

House of Goodness is doing very well.  We have 14 kids who are doing very well in school except a few who are struggling, and we do have two who have been moved back in their grades so that they may catch up.

Our garden is not doing well and instead of other vegetables we have only maize and sweet potatoes in the garden.  Pray that as the rainy season comes we will be able to plant and grow some other vegetables.

This is a rainy season and it is difficult to meet with kids. Rivers are always flooding so that we cannot cross. Please pray for a way to meet with the kids and for good health and safety as we serve the Lord here in Zimbabwe.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord here in Zimbabwe.  The Lord has truly been so faithful to us.  Pray for our fellow staff co-workers and the blessing of God here on our base and outreach.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support that allow us to continue to serve the Lord.

Yours in Christ,

Charles and Dorcas Chinaka
