Peru —Teen Trip

First Boot Camp  June 6—July 26Peru

Spend your summer serving God in the dynamic country of Peru, “The Land of the Incas”. After finishing your training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you will bus to the Miami International Airport for a flight across the Straits of Florida, Cuba, the Caribbean Sea and the Equator before arriving in Lima, the capital of Peru. A connecting flight will take you over the Andes Mountains to your destination, Pucallpa, a small, beautiful jungle city located in the Amazon Basin. Your mission is to aid the El Shaddai Bible Missionary Church by constructing a Sunday school building so that the local children will have a safe, comfortable place to learn about the Bible and the love of Christ. Housing will be in dorms; showers are available. Laundry will be done using buckets. During your free time, you may have the opportunity to share the Gospel at the local public school or nearby orphanage using puppets, drama, music and personal testimonies. You may also walk down to the river market where you can barter for amazing handcrafted spears, bags, paintings and more!

  8. Where will we stay while we are in Pucallpa?

    • Daniel, When you are at the base, you will stay in dorms. We are still working on the housing situation when you are backpacking. That information will come out in the spring. Please realize that housing can change, even at the last moment. We went from a Guest House to tents this past summer. Everyone adapted well. Everyone is in tents during the two weeks of Boot Camp.
