Work is progressing in Panama

We received a phone call report from the head leader. They will not have access to the internet until on their way out, when they are in 08 PanamaPanama City, so reports will come by phone. The work project is going well.

“All of the footers have been poured and we are starting to lay block today. We are making our own blocks and have block-making crews going. We ran out of sand and two hours later, the men from the village came and brought rock and sand! The village Chief told the men to deliver it. The sawmill is cutting our lumber and we are starting to get wood for the trusses. A man from the Peace Corp visited us and did a culture class for the team which we really enjoyed. The men from the church bought 25-30 crabs and four lobsters. The KP and Kuna women are cracking them and making a traditional dish for the team tonight. The team is staying fairly healthy, but there seems to be a bug going around. Thanks for your prayers.”

  1. Every message, no matter how brief, brings welcome relief to those of us waiting for news! Glad to hear they are working hard, and having time to play and visit with the locals. Does anyone know if their limited access to internet will correlate to a limited access to mail as well? Are they getting our letters? Able to send letters? Thank you for the news!

  2. Crab and Lobster for dinner?!?! Don’t let the other teams find out! 🙂 God Bless you all and the good work you are doing. Praying for miraculous healing, you are in the service of the Lord of Heavens Armies

  3. I am praying for the team to be healthy and for God to heal everyone who’s under the weather! Thankful to hear how everyone is working well as a team including those from the village! I am so proud of you all!

    Bless you all,
Carolyn Mitchell of San Jose, CA 🙂
