Australia — Preteen Trip

Preteen Boot Camp  July 1—August 5Australia

Head “Down Under” to the rugged bushlands of southern Queensland, Australia. After completing Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport and fly via Los Angeles to Brisbane. From Brisbane, you bus two hours north along the Sunshine Coast to the Teen Missions Australia Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center. There will be no shortage of work from painting and laying sidewalks to building a bush walk through the rain forest. You will wake up many days with a view of kangaroos, wallabies, goannas and possibly a koala! You will also visit the world-famous Australia Zoo, founded by the late Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter. Opportunities to interact with Aussie young people will be provided as you minister in local churches, in youth groups and at public schools in religious education classes using music, puppets and testimonies. On weekends you may have opportunities to evangelize at the local skateboard parks along the Sunshine Coast. Housing will be in dorms; showers are available. Laundry will be done using buckets. A visit to Noosa Heads Beach, a surfer’s paradise, will provide an afternoon of relaxation along with shopping.

Project Expense: $4690 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee

  5. Dear mission team,
I just found your site and have been reading up on various mission trips. I would love to serve God on a mission trip geared for preteens/teens. I turn 13 in June and I am interested in getting more info about the preteen trip to Australia. I love to sing and act and this trip sounds like those skills could be used. Is that trip still open and how can I get more info to show my mom?

    God bless,
