Cameroon has safely arrived

The Cameroon Team has safely arrived into the captial city of Douala.18 Cameroon

We were delayed in leaving Orlando.  Our scheduled flight for 3:20 did not leave until 7:15.  We arrived in Washington DC at 10:30 with all our luggage.  Our airline gave us an overnight at the Hampton Inn.  We were welcomed to the hotel by two groups of parents who provided a wonder meal for us.  They even provided for our gluten free people.  We were very blessed!!!!

Our flights were smooth with a quick layover of about one hour in Ethiopia.  We arrived in Douala Cameroon on time and claimed all our luggage and met up with our Director Mr. Bland.  We are all a bit on the tired side, however, spirits are high and the team is excited to be here.

We are spending the night at the Baptist Guest House (nice beds, showers and a pool) and look forward to our 7 hour journey to the Teen Missions base in Bamenda in the morning.  We will be taking the team for their first Cameroonian meal of rice, chicken, plantains and Jama Jama (a spinach like vegetable) tonight before turning in for a good night’s rest.

We are so grateful for your prayers parents and supporters!  We are so blessed; these teens are great and we look forward to seeing what the Lord will do in them and through them.

  1. Praise God team Cameroon!! Keeping you all in my prayers to stay consumed and dwelling in Christ! Remember Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight and Romans 8:28, And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. So with Christ as your stronghold and foundation, go forth and do God’s Will!! God bless you and be with you all. 🙂
