We have finally arrived in Cambodia and we are excited for this new phase of our ministry this summer!
Friday we spent packing up. The owners of the Guest House graciously allowed us to cook in their kitchen, so we had Kraft Mac & Cheese for our last meal in Myanmar. The team scarfed it down! We left the Guest House about 5 PM and headed to the airport where we spent the evening until our flight left late at around 2:30 on Saturday morning. It was an uneventful flight to Hong Kong where we spent the next 11 hours.
Our flight to Cambodia was about an hour late leaving, but we arrived safely around 8:30 PM and were met by our missionary, Mathew Wylie. Mathew and Heni graciously provided a delicious meal and we soon headed off to bed for a much-needed uninterrupted night of sleep. We are staying at the Wylies until we leave for Kampong Chhnang (KC) where our project will be.
We are planning on going to an English speaking church service this afternoon. We will spend the day resting, doing our verse reviews, quiz off, etc. Tomorrow we will be visiting Angor Wat. We leave Tuesday morning for KC. Internet access will not be as available, but will go into town to send the reports.
