Our final full day in Siem Reap has been very eventful. We met up with the Cambodia MSSM team and we all took vans to visit Angkor Wat. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed seeing, climbing, walking etc. through the endless temples. After lunch, we all headed to the local markets where everyone again put their bartering skills to good use buying everything from clothing, to wooden articles, purses, etc. A few enjoyed putting their feet into water and having the fish eat their dead skin (complete with a cold coke). This felt especially good after being in boots for so many weeks.
We are now enjoying dinner at KFC and will be returning home to consume more food (mostly for those who didn’t eat at KFC) and then doing our final packing out before heading out tomorrow to KC to FINALLY beginning our work project.
We have been VERY appreciative to the Wylies for opening their home to us, complete with fans, showers, etc. From what we have heard from the MSSM team, it is very remote where we are going. We are all excited to help here.
Thank you for all of your prayers!
