Eyudu, Patrick & Jenipher Newsletter (Fall 2014)

Eyudu, Patrick & JennipherDear Friends,

Greetings to you all in Jesus’ name! We thank God for your prayers. I have a great testimony to share. First, we were blessed by an adult team who made an impact in the life of the orphans by washing their feet, removing jiggers and nursing wounds.  A girl named Angela Asero, who lost both parents, had many wounds in both her legs and hands. This orphan was having to come for wound dressings for over one week and she was thankful for her new friends. Why? A friend is the person who takes care of you whenever you are in problems. He or she will not let you down.

Second testimony is that the Lord blessed us with a newborn baby girl who we named Race. When we look back to where the Lord picked us up and started running our race, we realize that God never failed us at any moment. He made us to run a good race from being single to married life and having a family. Just as the Scripture says in Matthew 6:33, “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.”

The third testimony is that we are now serving Him with the AIDS Orphans & Street Children Rescue Unit which is located on the banks of Lake Kyoga. Whenever we have a meeting or gathering with the orphans, we see many coming to the Lord confessing Christ in their lives. Many are being discipled to become role models of Christ, standing as ambassadors for the nation even though they don’t have parents. He or she will be lifted up like Esther from being an orphan to being a king or queen. Many times I love to share with orphans the stories about Esther’s life and I encourage them to trust the Lord in whatever situation they are going through.

Lastly, this year we have been helping widows repair their houses by fixing doors and other parts of their homes.  We are also sharing the Gospel with the widows and others in the community.  We also do school ministry by visiting primary schools and sharing with them Bible stories and skits about Jesus.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord with Teen Missions and look to Him for all things.

Thank you for your prayers and support.
