“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.”

Wow! 2015! Weren’t we just at Boot Camp????

We hope you all had a good holiday with your family and friends. We stayed here this year and just enjoyed our time at home. We didn’t do anything exciting (much to our kids’ dismay…). We were able to get a few things done around the house and several books read. It was a much-needed break that we thoroughly enjoyed! A BIG thank you to those who sent us cards, letters and gifts! You were a BIG blessing to our family!

One of our “adopted” students, Amy Wilson (also went with us to China in 2010), spent the holiday with us. It was a blessing for our family to spend time with her. She graduated from the Teen Missions BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center in 2013 and has been at home in Idaho raising her support for her internship. She is now serving the Lord in Cambodia (she was adopted from Cambodia). Please pray for her as she does her one-year internship—health, safety and an effective ministry.

Colton Sr. PictureThe kids continue to do well in school. Lindsay continues her social work studies at the University of Tennessee. Colton is looking at his options for after he graduates. Right now, he really doesn’t know what he wants to do. Can you believe he turned 18 this month and is graduating in May???? He is taking three college classes this semester and does classes at his high school in the afternoons. Danae is starting to look into colleges and getting serious about raising her SAT and ACT scores. She is planning on doing “early admission” at our local community college for her senior year. She was a captain of her JV soccer team this year and really enjoyed playing. BJ is enjoying the “DiVinci Academy” (engineering emphasis) and is doing well in those classes. He is hoping to get his learner’s permit in the near future. He really enjoyed playing JV soccer and his team only had one loss. Now, he is starting back up in Club soccer. I know — it is never ending…Please pray for wisdom for Colton as he decides what to do next year. Please pray that our children will bring glory to the Lord in all their activities——BJ For Supportschool, sports, social activities, etc.

They are all excited about their summer mission trips. Colton and Danae are still planning on going on the Madagascar MSSM (motorcycle) team. BJ decided not to go on the South Africa team because there were not any boys signed up. He switched to the Madagascar Work team, but that team cancelled since he was the only one registered. He is now going on the Bangladesh Orphanage team. His team will be constructing a brick road between the orphanage and the school. They will also be doing some landscaping, as well as maintenance and improvements on the existing buildings. Please pray for their needed support—both prayer and financial. They are about a third of the way there!

Colton - MadagascarWe will not be leading a team this summer, but will be a part of the summer staff which we do every other year. We never know what to expect or who will be helping us, so we are excited to see how the Lord will orchestrate what happens during our ministry this summer. Please pray for grace and wisdom in our ministry this summer.

We have over 520 team members and leaders registered for the 2015 teams! Phone calls, emails and the arrival of paperwork are increasing. Paul has been busy finalizing the travel plans and corresponding with the missionaries. I am continuing to register team Danae-Madmembers and leaders every day along with starting to put together the paperwork for those teams needing visas. Water filters will need to be ordered soon. We are so excited to see what the Lord is going to do in and through these team members and leaders this summer! It is fun to watch them at Boot Camp and then see the changes in their lives at Debrief! Again, please pray for wisdom and grace as we deal with the frantic phone calls and emails from the parents.

Paul is planning on doing a set-up trip to Cuba sometime in the next couple of months. Please pray for good contacts and potential projects. He is really excited about this trip. However, he doesn’t speak Spanish…

And here is a subject that we hate bringing up. Our support these past few months has decreased due to a loss of some monthly supporters. We have had several lean months, but the Madagascar ILord continues to meet our needs. The Lord blessed us tremendously with some one-time gifts during December. However, we do need to increase our monthly support base. Would you pray about possibly joining our support team, either through monthly support or one-time gifts? If you are unable to support us financially, we would appreciate your prayers for us in this area. Please pray that we would be wise with our finances.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support that allow us to be a part of this ministry. Your faithfulness has a far reaching effect all over the world!

In Christ,

Paul, Beth, Lindsay, Colton, Danae and BJ Kostner
