Dear Family and Friends,
Happy 2015 to you all. Greetings from Zambia in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Another year has slipped into the history books. We hope all is well with you all. As for us we are doing well. God has been so faithful to us and forever He is faithful. We give thanks to God for everything He did for us in 2014. We really appreciate God for 2014 was a good year despite some challenges here and there.
We thank God for the Boot Camps that have just ended. My wife, Dorah, helped to lead the Ndola team. She had a good team and it was encouraging to see the Lord work in the team members as most of them gave their lives to Christ. The team worked on the staff dorm and did evangelism at the nearby compounds. We also did chicken chores and other work around the property. There were seven leaders and 18 team members on this team.
While my wife was on the team, I did a lot of work with the leaders for 2nd Boot Camp. We went to Chiwala to weed the maize field. That took two days. Then we did the weeding of the maize at the base in Ndola. At night we helped with the evening rallies. I did most of the driving as I took the 2nd Boot Camp leaders to Solwezi for their camp. I traveled to Lufy as well to encourage our missionaries that work there. The roads were muddy, but I thank God for His protection.
Esther and Ethan are doing well. They are both having birthdays soon. Esther is turning five on the 17th of April and Ethan is turning two on February 14th. We thank God for their lives. They are a blessing to us. Esther and Ethan are both going to school now which is a blessing as well. Esther is in K-4 and Ethan is in a preschool class.
Teen Missions is working hard to prepare for our first ever 5K Mud Run to benefit our work with AIDS Orphans. Modifications are being made on our Merritt Island, Florida Boot Camp property. You can follow our progress, read more information, and register to participate at mudrun.teenmissions.org. In the Spring, Teen Missions will again plan to deploy two of the life-sized Tabernacle replicas for the summer in addition to the model already set up at our headquarters in Florida.
We thank God for 2015 and we are expectant on what God has for us this year. We thank God for giving us the opportunity to continue to serve Him here in Zambia with Teen Missions. Every year is a growing and learning experience as we serve Him.
We want to thank God for you, our family and friends, who have been praying and supporting us faithfully. We appreciate you all so much for being there for us. Always remember that whatever good you have done is not in vain. God will support you and remember you this year.
God willing, we will be in the USA this year for Mom and Dad’s 50th wedding anniversary and also to do some deputation. If you are interested in having us speak at your church, youth group, house fellowship, or home please contact us so we can make travel plans. Contact us at our email address: [email protected]
We ask that you all keep us in prayers for travel plans, God’s provision, protection and good health.
Yours in Christ,
Robert, Dorah, Esther and Ethan Yoder
