Untitled-1“If the LORD delights in a man’s way, He makes His steps firm; though He stumble,

He will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with His hand.”

Psalm 27:23-24

Dear Friends, Family and Supporters,

I thank God for what He has done for me. He keeps me and protects me; He upholds me and strengthens me. Now it’s almost a year since I have been in South Africa. I can see the hand of God with me through every trial and temptation. He makes me strong because of His power.

I thank God for the Samaritan Ladies ministry. God opened the way for us to receive a donation for computers for the ladies that they may learn about the computer. We also trained them to do sewing,  jewelry making and cooking. I thank God because now wUntitled-4e got new ladies attending; and we praise God for the old ones who are being faithful. Part of this ministry that I really like is cooking. They use the BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK (BMW) Training
Center kitchen to do their training. I am the one who is in charge of the kitchen. One thing that makes me proud of them is that they clean the kitchen and the stuff after they use it. I really enjoy working with them and I am so blessed by them. We are getting to know each other.

Glory be to God, the wedding between KgotsoMashongoane and Lorraine Maxwell went smoothly. The family and friends of Lorraine were here. They stayed at the guest house about a week and they enjoyed it. I praise God that Kgotso and Lorraine asked me to cook for their wedding reception. I was the one who was in charge of the cooking. Lydia was in charge of the whole program of the wedding and Tia was the one in charge of the decorations. We thank God for what He has done for our two friends.  The wedding was under the tree on the plot next to our base.  It was a beautiful day!

We took pictures with Kgotso and Lorraine wearing their traditional dress. It’s a Sotho traditional dress. I can see the difference between the western wedding and African wedding. In South Africa if someone gets married they are going to feed the whole village. It’s really different with Canadian wedding. It was Untitled-3such a blessing to be a part of their wedding. I can see lots of the new things in marriage.

Thank you again for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for me as I serve the Lord here in South Africa.

In Christ.
