Last night during rally we did receive a little rain but not enough to flood the tents. Some of the team’s things did get a little wet but that did not discourage anyone from the excitement that commissioning brings. We are continuing to pray for dry weather for today’s pack out.
The Bangladesh Team Is Ready To Be On Their Way!
We leave on a bus tonight after rally and will spend the night in the airport before taking our first flight to Chicago. We have heard that many of the team members parents are going to be coming to the Commissioning Service and it will be fun to see them all.
The team has been doing really well with all the new information that they have been receiving about traveling, airport customs and Bangladesh culture. They have really good attitudes about everything and are just excited to get to our project. The next report that we sent, Lord willing we will be in Bangladesh!
Please continue to pray or us as we begin our journey to Bangladesh. We will be traveling many miles for many hours and we need your prayers for strength, patience, energy and safety. We know God goes before us and with us and He will sustain us in all that we do.
Brady Franklin – “The Lords Boot Camp has taught me how blessed I am to be in a good Christian school and how thankful we should be to have good-sized houses, meals and air conditioning. It has also taught me not to whine and complain when things don’t go exactly the way I want to to. Daily devotions and Bible classes have helped me understand more of the way that Satan works and he doesn’t give up when tempting us and trying to pull us away form God. The Lord’s Boot Camp has been a great experience and has already given me a stronger relationship with the Lord.”
Hannah Bapstista – “Since I arrived at Boot Camp, the Lord has been working on my heart; with trusting Him and my team. He has been strengthening me spiritually and physically.”
Alexis Gorecki – ‘Amos 9:6, Psalm 118, Psalm 134:8 – praying these verses over this week. The Lord has been teaching me completly
surrender and that is it time to be an adult. No one who lives in Him keeps sinning. We are made in Christ’s image to destroy the devil’s work. It is time to get rid of my excuses and respect my parents and live according to God’s Word. I felt called to missions the going through these short few days, it is hard work! I look forward to fighting for the kingdom of God.”
Jeshua Moore – “God has been showing me that sometimes the answer to my prayer to be closer to Him. Is God giving me things that are hard? The more I have to push through the more I am relying on God. Sometimes it it easy to say negative things, but I’m learning to think of all the good things that God has given, great people on my team, awesome leaders and I cant wait to see what God has for us this summer.”
