Blessings from Cambodia,

We have finished our time in Siem Reap! Tuesday we will visit the Old Market for souvenir shopping and the beautiful Angkor Wat Temples. Please keep the team in your prayers as we travel the next day and settle ourselves in at Kampong Chhanang. It’s been both a unique and wonderful experience for the team to visit all the Sunday schools this past week, completing the entire circuit. We’ve learned so much being with the BMW students and traveling with circuit riders, Nellie and Sreymon. The Lord has kept everyone safe and the rain minimal for our daily outings.

Most everyone have been adventurous to try new things, especially the food. There are many fruits to try, as well as yummy sweets! Their favorite part has been spending time with the children, and learning the culture. Most days the team would leave around 7am, but Sunday they traveled earlier to cover a longer distance. After a long day, it was nice to have Monday free to catch up on classes and sleep. It’s hard to believe there are only a few weeks left. It will be sad to say goodbye when the time comes.

“Jim-reap-soo-ah (Hello) from the base in Siem Reap, Cambodia! We’ve been for five days now, and what an experience it’s been so far! Cambodia is largely tropical, and there are so many motorcycles, cows, dogs, and palm trees here. It’s been a humbling experience to be somewhat submerged into the culture here. The people are so kind and friendly-hearted. I see how daily life here vs. daily life in the U.S.A has changed my mindset and given me an appreciation for my family, friends, and blessings back home. It’s been encouraging to work with the children and to see their joy, and it has been my favorite thing thus far. Please continue to pray for the Cambodia team, for health and travels. Thank you!” – Annie Russum

“Hello Everyone!!! So today was our first Sunday in Cambodia. This place is such an exciting place, and full of unique sights and smells. Overall, it has been a great experience and full of opportunities to evangelize to the kids. This Wednesday we will be traveling down south seven hours by bus to the other Teen Missions base, so please pray for the continuation of our journey! Thanks and God bless.” – Isaac Workman

    Hi Reilly

Great to get news of your outreach. The pictures look like a happy team. We pray that this next few weeks will see many life changing experiences. We are so proud of you and you know missions is our heart. Your cousin Courtney has arrived in Australia after a lot of flying and he assignment is for 2 years at that YWAM base. She has a return ticket for next April so may come back for a quick trip then. Jordan just got back from Napal and of course he has a lot of stories, especially experiencing the earthquake in Kathmandu that killed 8,000 people.
Anyhow I how you are keeping a journal as there will be a lot of stories to tell.

We love you lots and will be praying for your safety and that you will hear the still quiet voice of the Lord

    Love …………………Grandma and Granpa
