The Madagascar Team Is Almost Finished With Boot Camp!

22 MadagascarCBoot Camp has flown by, and the team only has three days left before Commissioning! Tomorrow will be our last day of training, and they are finishing strong and feeling confident on the motorcycles. After that, they will be hard at work during pack out to tear down the campsite and prepare for travel! The team is eager to be done with Boot Camp and on to Madagascar, and are looking forward to the work God has for us there.

While at Boot Camp over the past two weeks, the team has been growing spiritually through daily devotions, morning sessions with various speakers, evening worship and rally, and daily memory verses.

The team bonding is going great, and every day they grow closer and better as a team. Today was the third day the team has gotten every single member over the Wall during the Obstacle Course. They have all truly become friends and they definitely know how to have a blast and laugh together. By the end of the summer, they will be full of memories, stories, and pictures to share! Praise the Lord for bringing this team together so well!

Please pray for safe travels this coming weekend!

This year’s Boot Camp experience has far exceeded my expectations. The team has bonded together wonderfully and the Lord has already revealed Himself to me in the most amazing ways. I am so excited for the wonderful adventures that God has in store for me in Madagascar. -Joshua C.

Boot Camp, surprisingly, is going by extremely fast. As the days go by, riding the motorcycle I realize more and more how much I need to learn. Fortunately, we have great leaders who know what they are doing, as well as God’s protective hand. -Kitty M.

The second week of Boot Camp is when life starts getting good. Suddenly, you seem to not notice the heat, mosquito bites, and smell as much. Our team work gets better on the Obstacle Course every day, and our motorcycle skills are continuing to grow as well. Every day our team continues to bond more as a whole, and God is definitely working on all our hearts to prepare us for our ministry in Madagascar. Life is great, and on top of that we got to bathe today and had chicken nuggets for dinner. Keep us in your prayers for safety, our spiritual growth, and to prepare the hearts of the people in Madagascar. -Kimberly K.
