An Update From Malawi II

23 Malawi IndianaCIt has been a busy week so far.  In drama class the team is learning how to share God’s Word with their actions.  They are having to “come out of their shells”.  As leaders, it has been fun to watch them portray the different characters as they really get into their roles.  We are a small team (nine girls and two guys), so we are also learning how to project in music class.  They have been teaching each other new songs and are improving with each practice.  It is a blessing to see these kids working together to accomplish the tasks at hand.  Our leader, Steve Petersen, has been teaching Advanced Evangelism so that the team will be prepared to share answers with those who are asking questions about God and how to live for him.  When we get to Malawi and begin well drilling, we will have many opportunities to witness to those watching us.  Tomorrow (Thursday) is our last official training day and then we will begin to think about packing to leave.  Thank you for your prayers for each of us as we continue to serve the Lord here at the Lord’s Boot Camp.

  1. I am praying for the team to be led and kept by the Spirit as they go out representing the King of kings and Lord of lords. May the goodness and mercy and grace of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit fill you to overflowing. I pray that hearts will be prepared and seeking for Truth and His love to enter and be received and understood. I pray that the lies and accusations of the enemy will be thwarted and brought to naught and that there will be a genuine reception of the gospel by faith by many. I pray protection and a spirit of boldness and confidence and a sense or calling goes with you and that others sense the power and healing of God through your love, words and lives to those you meet. Go in His name and share the Good News and His Love. Amen.

  2. We are so proud of you all. May you come to understand Yaweh’s purpose for your lives. May you find true joy & satisfaction in serving others. Know that you have a strong circle of families praying daily for you all. We appreciate & love you all; whether we know you or not. You’re all part of our family now.
    Blessings to you all 🙂
