The team are doing an amazing job with working together and they have been doing great with their presentation as they have been doing their presentation all week. We are now in Reit View where the MSSM place is where Lorraine and Kgotso are. We have been going to all the MSSM areas and playing games, evangelism with puppets and singing. We got to go to an Old Age place where the girls sang for them and we prayed for them as Jason did a message. We also went to a Clinic as well and did a presentation there. The girls have been loving this time to play with a lot of children and being able to reach out to others and show Jesus love to them. They love seeing the smiles on the children’s faces. The girls also got to do door-to-door evangelism. The girls have been working really hard to get barbed wire on the fence, finishing up to get a toilet and a shower built to be able to use at Reit View. The girls are broken up into three groups for MSSM as Lorraine has three helping her do Phonics, Kgotso has three to help with teaching verses, and Peter who is an MSSM rider who has two helping him with telling Bible stories. The girls have been having an amazing time here; they can’t believe that it’s almost over. It is beautiful here. It has been cold at night and in the morning but during the afternoon it has been hot. The girls have been healthy—no one has been serious sick or injured praise God. It has been great to be able to lead with Jason, he has been an amazing leader. We will be heading back to the base on Sunday and we still have other MSSM places we will be going to this week and doing more working at the place we are staying at.
Laura Beals: I have really been enjoying my time here in South Africa. I cannot believe how fast the time has flown! I am trying to take in every minute, God has already done so much, and I am loving it. I cannot wait to tell everyone at home more about my adventures! Staying here in Reit View, sleeping in tents and having weird toilets, has really helped me to focus more on the people here rather than myself. As much as I have enjoyed sleeping in dorms and using showers, it has made it easy to focus on myself. So I am glad we get this week here.
Rosemary Michael: The few days we’ve been in Maboloka so far have been amazing. It’s been such a blessing to play with and get to know all the kids. They have so much joy in the midst of everything. It’s reminded me to be more joyful in my own life.
