Ecuador Preteen

EcuadorBe on the first Teen Missions team to the NEW Bible, Missionary & Work (BMW) Training Center property in Playas, Ecuador, located just five miles from the Pacific Ocean!

Preteen Missions Trip (ages 10-13)

Travel: Your summer begins with mission training at the Lord’s Boot Camp. After you complete Boot Camp, you will bus to the Orlando International Airport and board a flight across the Straits of Florida, Cuba and the Caribbean Sea to Bogota, Colombia. A short connecting flight across the Andes Mountains will take you to Guayaquil. From the airport you bus to Playas to begin work at the BMW.

Ministry: You will be able to serve God by working on numerous projects including clearing land, starting the foundation for the first building and laying out the Obstacle Course for the teams that will use this new Ecuador Boot Camp property. Participating in the ministry outreaches in Playas and the surrounding towns will provide a witness to the local people. Housing will be in tents; bathing and laundry will be done using a bucket.

Adventure: The Pacific Ocean and its white sandy beaches are just minutes away for a swim and shop for souvenirs such as Alpaca wool clothing and blankets, jewelry, dolls, leather goods and paintings.

Dates: June 22 – July 28

Estimated Project Expense: $2690 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee

  1. Can a parent go, too?

  2. Shanna alexander

With the recent earthquake in Ecuador are they still going? I know last summer nepal still went and did earthquake relief, just wondering because they will be alot younger preteens.

  3. Just curious: Mt. Cotopaxi started erupting this weekend and Ecuador is under a state of emergency. I know summer 2016 is still some time away, but I’m wondering if this will affect this team/trip any?

  4. I had the same issue as Robin, it says Australia still instead of Ecuador when you go to the registration page in the drop down box. I just printed and mailed my sons registration instead of doing it online. :). Hope that works alright!!

  5. My son wants to sign up for Ecuador but when we go to the registration page it’s not an option.

Can you advise us on how to proceed?

    Thank you!

    • Robin, Keep trying. We are getting registrations daily, so it must be working. The computer techs are all on teams at this point.
