  1. Do you have a field address for this team?

  2. Hello! I just discovered your group, and have a question. Right now, our son doesn’t have much religious training, due to his father not wanting it in the home. I want him to learn about God, and to learn to spread the gospel. Would this be a good group for that, or should he already know a lot before coming??? I don’t want him to come, and feel like an outsider. Thanks SO much!!

    • Brenda, He does not have to know about God – we will teach him! We hope that he won’t feel like an outsider. You can register online.

  3. i don’t know what happened to my last comment, it seems to have disappeared. Anyway, I figured out the answer, mostly. I am having a difficult time finding a return flight between 9-3. Is 430pm ok? That is about the closest I could get.

  4. I just want to make sure we are getting there the right time to pick up our daughter as we will be taking time off work to do so. The preteen page says debrief day is Thursday, July 28 from 9 AM and 3 PM. However, one of the comments here says, “pick her up after 8PM on the 27th or between 6AM-9AM on the 28th.” We will be driving to pick her up. Does that mean we need to be there before 9AM on the 28th to get her and we don’t have until 3PM to get there? If so, we will probably arrange to pick her up Wednesday night instead.

    • Sarah, You can either pick her up between 8PM – 9PM on the 27th (after the service) or the next morning BEFORE 9AM. If she is flying out, she can fly between 9AM – 3PM. If you don’t want to pick her up that early, you can pick her up at the airport between 9-3.Just make sure you put on her transportation card that you are picking her up at the airport and not at Teen Missions. It is very difficult for the kids who don’t go to the airport to be left at the base when most, if not all of their team is gone. The earlier they are picked up, the easier it is for them. It is hard for the kids waiting on their parents, especially the last kids.

  5. Hello, I am considering registering my daughter for this trip for this summer 2016. Is it already full? Also, she is 10, which appears to be old enough but it looks like you’re saying something above about needing to be 11 or 12.

I am a Teen Missions alumni (Alaska 1978, Ireland 1979). Absolutely one of the greatest experiences of my life!!! Back then, children were picked up where they lived (we are in California) and taken by bus to bootcamp. Is that still done?

    Thank you and God bless!

  6. How old do you have to be for this team? And are there any spots left for boys?

  7. Our daughter is registered for this trip. The main preteen page says, “Depart Debrief between 9 AM and 3 PM Thursday, August 4th, 2016” but above it shows end date as July 28. Do we pick her up on July 28 or August 4?

    • Sarah, It is July 28. If you are picking her up, you can pick her up after 8PM on the 27th or between 6AM-9AM on the 28th. If flying, it needs to be on the 28th between 9-3.

  8. My son is interested in Mission Trip. Are spots still available?

  9. my brother wants to know if this team is still open.

  10. I was looking for forest angels mission trip reports but they weren’t on the reports?

  11. when will the team scrapbook come from this team last year

  12. Is this trip only for ages 10-13? if not what is the age requirement?

  13. Christine Edwards

My son graduates on June 24th. Would he be able to join the team on the 25th?

    • Christine, We do allow for late arrival for those graduating from High School. They must arrive the next morning after graduation. If they are graduating from Middle School or elementary school, they are not allowed to be late.

      • I just tried to register my son for Forest Angels, but after I paid there was a problem returning to the Teen Missions website. Is the registration complete or is there something else that I needed to do after paying? His name is Nathan Edwards. Thanks!

        • Christine, Please email and he will check on your registration. We will not be processing them until mid-September as everyone is on vacation/deputation.

  14. Hi, I registered my son for Forest Angels last week, will I get a confirmation email that he is on the list for 2016?

    • Renee, Everyone is out of the office until mid September. We will process the registrations after that time. What is his last name and I can see if it was received?
