Poland English Camp

Poland Flag

Teaching English in Poznan, Poland will be just part of your ministry experience on this summer missions trip! Many people study the English language, but do not feel comfortable using it in conversation form. Your team will use English as a ministry tool to reach young people in Poland.

Teen Missions Trip (ages 13-19)

Travel: After training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport and board a flight to JFK International Airport in New York. From New York a connecting flight across the Atlantic Ocean takes you to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. A four-hour bus ride will take you to Poznan.

Ministry: Upon arrival you will go through orientation with the camp staff before campers arrive. You will be amazed how a conversation over a cup of tea or a simple game like “Simon Says” can be used to teach the English language. At the same time, you can share your faith in Christ and give evangelistic presentations using music and puppets. After the English camp, you bus 100 miles to Jawor, where you will help a church dismantle a roof by taking the roofing tiles off and cleaning them so they can be reused at a later date.

Adventure: A short distance from the project site is the infamous World War II Rogoznica Concentration Camp and the medieval Ksiaz Castle in Walbrzych. You will have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs such as handcrafted crystal, wooden plates and boxes, baskets and soccer jerseys.

Dates: June 18 – August 6

Estimated Project Expense: $4190 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee
