TrinidadMake the beautiful island of Trinidad, located just off the coast of South America, your destination for the summer!

Teen Missions Trip (ages 13-19)

Travel: After completing training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport and board a flight south, across the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Sea, to the Piarco International Airport located in Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad. A thirty-minute bus ride takes you from the airport to your project site.

Ministry:Your main project will be to build a security wall around the church property at the Triumphant Revival Centre. Your Boot Camp puppet and music training will be put to good use during their week-long Vacation Bible School (VBS). Your team will enjoy interacting with the children at VBS and have the opportunity to impact them for eternity by sharing the Gospel through songs, puppets and testimonies.

Adventure: The white sands and clear, turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea await your discovery as well as shopping in Port of Spain for souvenirs such as baskets, straw hats, wood carvings, oil paintings and T-shirts to remind you of your amazing summer in Trinidad.

  1. Hi, Beth Kostner, I am really interested in joining YWAM ministries. I am particularly drawn to the Trinidad trip. Do I raise the $3590 myself or does the whole team and, if God wills me to go, will I receive a list of what is required to bring to the boot camp? If you could please answer these questions as soon as possible that would be fantastic! -Olivia Hardie

    1. Olivia, Everyone who goes will need to raise that amount. Yes, you will need to raise that amount. Once you register, we provide you with prayer cards and letters to help you raise the needed support. Yes, you will receive a list. There is probably a list from last summer still on our website under “resources”.

        1. Olivia, Not all teams require a visa, but all teams (except Indiana) require a passport. All of that information will come out in the spring in the Individual Team Fact Sheets.

  2. Hello, I’ve been searching high and low for some missions trips now! So you have to go through boot camps first before you even go on these mission trips? And where are the places these boot camps are held at?

    1. Hi A’Nyila! I went this past summer with TMI and it was the best. To answer your first question yes you do have to go through boot camp and to answer your second the Lord’s Boot Camp is held in Florida which is great for me cause I live in Florida! hope to see you there!!
