The Forest Angels enjoyed the candle lighting service and Ally, Rosalyn, Isaac, and Jude were chosen to lead the color guard at the end of the service on their minibikes. After the service we had a pizza party.
The next day we helped take down the 40′ by 40′ Visitors Tent. It was our first work project and Nick lead the crew. Once we finished our project we began—making preparations for our trip to Ocala. Due to the park being closed for a couple of days and many other reservations, we will only be in Ocala for four nights. Because of this we are working extra hard to insure that we can reach the people there with the Gospel. We have trained on the bikes. Elias has been leading the group and Nathan has been following from behind. Everyone is doing a great job with driving.
We are also working on a presentation to do in the evenings in Ocala. Austin has been chosen for the MC of the program, Jordan and Diego volunteered to share their testimony, Jayden, Nathan, Nick, Drew, and Ally will work together to share the Gospel though the colors of their shirts(Green, Black, Red, White, Gold, Green).
Now that Boot Camp is over we are enjoying running water for showers and washing machines. We are also enjoying more time together as a team. Thai is making us laugh with his jokes.
We are excited to go to the mission field in Ocala, Florida. We are trained in riding the minibikes, and our presentation is coming together. We are also preparing spiritually. The team is growing closer together and sharing about how God is working in their lives. It is a huge blessing to lead these kids and to hear all that God is teaching them.
Rosalyn C. – God has been working in my life in a lot of different ways. I’m learning a lot through my personal devotions and the rallies. I have realized how much I matter and that I am made perfect in His image. Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are they works and that my soul knoweth right well.
Diego C. – Boot Camp has been fun but now we will get to go evangelize which I think will be really cool. We have learned a lot and are getting ready for what we have been training for which I believe that I am ready for. I have been having lots of fun learning to go out on the field.
Isaac H. – One thing I have learned on this trip is that God is constantly blessing us in ways we take for granted like having running water. We need to make sure to thank Him for the little things.
Thai R. – God has been working on me. Preaching the Word is cool. I know if I die preaching, I will go to heaven. Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.

  1. Praise be to God! Sounds like you are all doing great and allowing God to have his way in all your lives. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Praying for you all and for God’s will to unfold in your lives. Be blessed!! We are very proud of our son Diego. We love you son and miss you so much. Love mom, dad, Kalani and Elija.
