Make a difference in the lives of AIDS orphans on this missions trip as you wash their feet and give them what will most likely be their very first pair of shoes and socks at AIDS Orphans Rescue Units.
Teen Missions Trip (ages 13-19)
Travel: After Commissioning you bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Washington D.C. before boarding a flight across the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea and the Sahara Desert to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A connecting flight takes you across the Equator to Ndola, located in the Copper Belt region of Zambia. It is just a 20-minute drive from the airport to the Teen Missions in Zambia Bible, Missionary & Work (BMW) Training Center.
Ministry: You will travel to various AIDS Orphans Rescue Units to hold foot washing clinics. You will also have the opportunity to teach Sunday school classes and play games with the orphans. Practical work projects at the Units may include building a bunk house for Motorcycle Sunday School Mission Circuit Riders or putting in a new soccer field.
Adventure: A trip is planned to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, discovered by David Livingstone in 1855. You will enjoy viewing these beautiful waterfalls, known as the “Smoke that Thunders”. Wood carvings, batiks, drums and jewelry are just a few of the souvenirs available to purchase before returning home.
