Lette, Shanty Newsletter (Winter 2016)

LetteDear Family, Friends and Supporters

Greetings all in Jesus name. Thanking God for the good things He has done for me during 2015. I can see the hands of God upon my life, my ministry, my family and my relationships. He hold my hands and walk with me and He shows me His love because of His faithfulness. God is faithful!

2015 was a very tough year for me, facing the trials and tribulation, but that makes me become a giant of faith because of God who strengthens me and gives me peace, He restores me (Psalm 85:4) and delivers me in the day of trouble (Psalm 50:15). He lists my tears (Psalm 56:8) and protects me even when I am in pain (Psalm 69:29). He heals my broken heart (Psalm 147:3) and says to me, “Be strong and courageous, don’t be afraid” (Deuteronomy 31:6) for the battle is Mine (1 Samuel 17:47). Be still and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10) surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand (Isaiah 14:24). I trust in Him because His Word stands forever (Isaiah 40:8) the words that go out from His mouth will not return to Him empty (Isaiah 55:11). I began my new year 2016 by the Word of God that says “Trust Me”. I realized that God wants me to trust Him for my future, family, finances, ministry, relationships that I’m going to do for this year. I am excited!

Last year I was doing MSSM (Motorcycle Sunday School Mission) for the children in our area and I am so blessed to do the ministry to those little children. The first time they were so scared of me because of my skin that looks different than their skin but as time goes by they are getting used to me and started to love me. Every time if I show up, they will run to me and say “Moruti” meaning “Pastor” they never get my name but I am happy to be called “Moruti”. For some of them it is hard for me to remember their name so I also will call them “Moruti”. It’s easier to call them moruti because they like it also and it keep them to come to the ministry that we are doing. During our break time I am still doing ministry for them, riding a bicycle, sometimes I fall down, the tire goes flat, attacks by dogs, but thank God for it, all is well. Those children are a blessing and we have a great time with them. Especially I can see how God works through their lives. They have been changing day by day, smiling, laughing and joyful and it brings joy to their families. I thank God for His faithfulness for my ministry to those kids.

Every month of December we have Boot Camp. Last year we had five of our students that graduated from BMW. I thank God for them, they will start their new adventure in 2016 as  pastors and I pray that God may continue to bless and keep them.

Boot Camp went very well. Praise God for helping us finish Boot Camp smoothly.

I am so excited to start the ministry in this new year and I trust God for the ministry that I am doing right now and trusting Him for every step and decision that I am going to take. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support of my ministry here in South Africa. I thank God for using all of you as a pray warriors for me. May God continue to bless and keep each one of you.

In Christ
