ROSE ANYARA NEWSLETTER 2016
I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my strength, my deliverer; my God, my strength in whom I will trust, my buckler and the horn of my salvation and my high tower. Psalm 18:1-2
I send my warm greetings to you in the mighty Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to thank you for the support you give me in the ministry. The Lord has placed me here at the eastern part of Uganda near the shores of Lake Kyoga. Truly, I have seen the great things the Lord has accomplished since I was sent to Nehemiah House Matron Unit, Promised Land, Bugoi.
For the three years I have been at the Nehemiah House, the Lord has continued to surprise us with many blessings. We have 20 teenage girls who live in the hostel. Most of these girls are from our TTT Rescue Unit; some are orphans and others come from very poor families. We keep them from the age of thirteen to sixteen years. They go to school from primary 1 to 7.
Most of the girls who come to the hostel do not know English, do not know Christ, do not know how to pray, and do not know how to wash. But when they reach here at Nehemiah House, we receive them with love and care, and we encourage them. We spend time teaching them how to do some work like gardening, cooking and cleaning. We read the Word of God together and we also have time to to pray together. We have seen God change them; and He has made them become good, obedient and God-fearing girls. Others have given their lives to Christ.
The Lord has blessed us with a nice kitchen compared to the one which we had before whereby whenever it would rain all our food would be full of water and the whole kitchen would be wet. The Lord provided us with nice Matron Unit t-shirts which we wear to represent the ministry among the locals. The girls are very smart and are now recognized in the community around. These are just a few things, but the Lord has done a lot for us.
Last year the Lord blessed our candidates and they managed to pass their classes very well and most of them joined Senior One. In 2015, we had 10 candidates who sat for their P.L.E. So on November 1st before they sat for their P.L.E. we had a small group of parents come together to wish the children success and they prayed together.
These are some of the photos of me giving them success cards wishing them the best in their exams.

We had a very powerful time with the girls and their parents. Some parents came from very far, riding bicycles; others came by water with the boat. We had a good time together. We served them lunch (posho and beans) and a cup of water. This was a very special day for us with the girls and the parents.
After schools closed on December 5th, I travelled to the base to participate in the Boot Camp. I taught maturity classes and God’s Will. I also preached in the evening rallies. We thank God and glorify His Name for the great things He did through the Boot Camp. Teens gave their lives to Christ, got delivered, and got healed. Joy and happiness were restored to many.
I want to thank everyone who is supporting me financially and prayerfully. I know that if you were not there, I would not make it on my own in where the Lord has put me to serve Him. Your prayers and support are very helpful.
God Bless You,
– God to bring more girls into the hostel
-That I can get married
-That we can build a better bathroom for the girls
