Sebit, Innocent & Suzan Newsletter (Spring 2016)

Sebit, Innocent & SuzanDear Friends and Families,

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. We are very grateful to God for His protection and mercy upon us since the year began. He has been a faithful God to us. As a young couple in marriage we have experienced love, joy, peace and His power when sometimes life seems difficult. The change from singleness to marriage leads to a lot of adjustment in so many areas in married life, but because of His mercy, we can face tomorrow.

From the month of February to April we have been so busy for the Lord doing different jobs in the ministry. An important one is working on the annual report of the NGO (non-government organization) that goes to the national board in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Uganda government.

Untitled-4Untitled-3Another thing that keeps us busy is the Uganda BIBLE MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center’s (BMW) outreach ministries with the students. By His grace we went to Bunalwenyi village in Makutu sub-county, Iganga District. God manifested His power through us and thirty six students gave their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ from the TMI former school, which is now called SonShine Christian High School. The challenge we had was lack of a sound system and a generator for power. That made our ministry not as effective, but in all we made it to the end—here is the picture.

This was time of worship and praise to the Lord God Almighty which changes many lives of boys and girls include Bible school students. We return all the glory back to God, the creator of universe.

Untitled-5The next outreach ministry was at Entebbe District, a few kilometers from the international airport. We were located in Nalugala village and were hosted by Bread of Life Impact Church for three days of ministry together with the youth from church. God allowed us to make difference in the lives of people in Nalugala community. In these three days we did different kinds of work, such as digging the garden of one of the old woman who is the member of the church and these are the photos.

Untitled-10The same day we also worked on community road while sharing the love of Christ with the people passing by. The people were so amazed about what both BMW students and the youth from Bread of Life Impact Church did. And my wife was in charge of KP, getting meals together with and for the students.

The next day we worked on the community well where we also had open-air meetings. The BMW students used puppets to share God’s love with the people. One kid was carried there because it her first time to see puppets. That made her mother to come to the church that hosted us to see who are these people were that made her kid be carried to where we were. We do appreciate God for the grace He has given to us to accomplish the work at the well as doing door-to-door evangelism.

Untitled-8We were grateful to accomplish the work and returned to Nakabango base on Sunday evening after service. We had wonderful fellowship with the church members, especially the youths and learned to be devoted to one another in brotherly love and to honor one another above yourselves. “But be sure to fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you.” (1 Samuel 12:24).
