Updated Sunday 6/19/16
We arrived safely at Western Indian Mission on Saturday evening (about the same time the 1st Boot Camp rally was starting in Florida!) It was a long 1900+ miles but the bus ran great and the team bonded along the way. The team enjoyed our first meal on the hilltop overlooking Window Rock… the sun had just set, the air was cool. Afterward, we spent time in worship, thanksgiving, and prayer. Today, we are setting up tents and the kitchen etc.
Report from Friday 6/17/16
Our all FTM team worked hard on Wednesday loading the bus @ the Lord’s Boot Camp… It was almost 100° and very humid…. We appreciate all of the staff and volunteers that helped to get us ready early… We bid goodbye to the big top tent knowing that we wouldn’t be there but our hearts are with all of the teams that will be arriving this weekend and we
are praying for you! We were excited to meet Mr. and Mrs. Beiler at the Alabama welcome center. They donated our lunch from Chick-fil-A it was awesome! Thank you so much! We traveled on through the heat and last night we stayed in Lafayette Louisiana with long-time Teen Missions friend Nancy Short. We enjoyed supper, showers, and got some much-needed rest. Today we plan to travel thru Dallas and on to Amarillo, TX. Thank you for all of your prayers we are doing well. We will plan to send another report after we arrive on Saturday in Window Rock.
