Honduras

HondurasHola! We invite you to the tropical mountains of Honduras where you can make a difference through your service to the Lord!

Preteen Missions Trip (ages 10-13)

Dates June 20 – July 28, 2017

Travel:  Your summer begins with mission training at the Lord’s Boot Camp. After you complete Boot Camp, you will bus to the Orlando International Airport and board a flight across the Straits of Florida, Cuba and the Caribbean Sea to Panama City, Panama. A short connecting flight will take you to San Pedro Sula. From the airport you bus two hours to Teen Missions in Honduras Bible, Missionary & Work (BMW) Training Center near San Isidro.

Ministry:  There are always people coming and going – between visitors and the staff and students who live here – but each year, it gets more and more difficult to reach the base because of one thing – the road. You can be part of the first of several teams who will be constructing an actual paved road leading up to the base. On weekends, you will also have the opportunity to share the Gospel in the area through presentations of puppets, dramas, music and testimonies.

Adventure:  Near the end of this unforgettable trip, you will have the opportunity to see the Puhlapanzak Waterfall and to barter for hammocks, machetes, jewelry, and other Central American treasures.

Project Expense: $2490 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee

  1. Also, Beth: Is there a way to view a list of what pre-teens will be required to bring with them prior to registering? Thanks!

    • Desiree, The packing list is online under “resources” (2016 packing list, but it is the same this year.). You can call or email about any paperwork missing. However, I am behind on that, so wait about a week please.

  2. Good afternoon Beth. Is the Honduras trip still open or has it been filled? Thanks!

    • Desiree, You will need to call the office and talk with Paul. All teams are ticketed, but we can sometimes get seats.

  3. Hi could i have more information on the Honduras preteen trip

    • Amelie, Please go to our home page and click on the “Go” button and then click on the Preteen Trips and then Honduras. The copy is there.

  4. Could our 14 year old daughter attend this mission. I know she is older then the stated age requirement but the price is what we can afford and our 12 year old son wants to go on this one too. It will be their first mission trip.

    • Jennifer, Since she is 14, she cannot attend the Preteen program. If your son turns 13 before or during the program, they could both attend the teen Honduras trip.

  5. The 2nd picture is not of Honduras.

  6. Could I have more information and details on this! Would love to do it. Or I constant number I could contact you on??
