Tanzania, Here We Come!

Start Your Engines! Ladies and gentlemen, The Lords Boot Camp is over!  It’s hard to believe its already been over two weeks since we arrived here.  We’ve had good times and hard times, from getting the messiest campsite one day, to lifting every team member over the wall the next.  But now the real fun begins!  This is the reason that we all signed up for Teen Missions.  Tanzania, Here We Come!

I cannot say how excited I am to be one of the leaders who gets to take this group of teens half way around the world to share the Gospel both in word and in action.  It’s so encouraging to see the team come together more and more every day and I know that the best is yet to come.

As far as exciting news goes, we took down our tents and are staying in an air conditioned dorm, we now have running water (and I don’t mean you run to get the water then run back) and Isaac W. got his accordion on commissioning night which has the whole team in an uproar.  I’m sure it will be an excellent way to start up conversations and share the gospel.

I speak for the whole team when I say that the excitement is so thick you can almost taste it… or was that bug spray?..  oh well.  Be praying for us and that all the luggage gets to where it needs to be.  We look forward to sending out another report when we get in country.     Aaron H

Testimonies:     Boot camp was a life altering experience, it was amazing!  And now we are getting ready to leave for Tanzania Africa, I can’t recall being more excited about anything else.  I have grown so much in my faith and would’t trade it for the world.  Shout out to my family, I love you guys and thank you so much for all the support.     Seth T.

Teen Missions International (TMI) is an amazing place and I wouldn’t trade Boot Camp for any vacation.  It was hard and crazy but one of the best summers I have ever had.  My team is the best group of people I have ever met, we are like a family.  Even when cleaning the bathrooms or doing hard work, the team still sticks together and we have a good time doing what we normally wouldn’t want to do.          Emily S.

Well, we made it through Boot Camp and I was super happy when I got my commissioning care package.  At 3am Monday morning we woke up and started take down the big top tent.  I have amazing leaders and an amazing team and am looking forward to an amazing summer.  I think God is going to do an amazing work in us! Nolan P.
