The team has had a great week of ministry and work. We have gone out every day to a local village to do a presentation and teach Sunday school. The children are very receptive and seem to love the interactive Bible stories. Josh told the story of David and Goliath and had one of the children put on his leather jacket and helmet to demonstrate Saul’s armor. Noah does an awesome job of telling Daniel in the Lions Den and Levi always volunteers to act out the stories. Rachel shared her testimony this week. It was a Blessing to hear her speak about how God has worked in her life. Alethia teaches about Jonah and the whale. They all do a great job telling the Bible Stories.
Everyone enjoys singing with the kids and playing games. We are working on learning a song or two in Khmer also.
At the base we have been working to help fix the road at the entrance and reinforce the fence at the back of the property to keep cows from grazing on our land.
Today we visited a local church for Sunday service. We sang a song, Josh shared his testimony and Kyle gave a message.
This week in Devos we heard Celeste share her testimony and last night Levi shared his favorite scripture in 1 Peter 1:6-9.
We are so thankful for God’s provision over our safety. There have been no crashes on the bikes and everyone is healthy. Please continue to pray for our team as we minister this week. Tomorrow we will travel a bit father than usual to visit a village about 20k away.
Levi: it’s fun to talk and play with the kids. Work projects are going well. I love my mommy. 🙂
Noah: I really enjoy going out to the village and seeing the smiles on the kid’s faces as they have fun learning about Christ. It’s hot here.
Claire: I’m getting better at the bike but I keep ripping my pants. 🙂
Josh: Cambodia is hot. I love the kids. I think I’m really going to like it here.
Celeste: the food is amazing and the kids are awesome at each Sunday school.
Kattie: it’s not as hot as I thought it would be.
Kyle: I am enjoying the food and making friends with the Bible school students
Alethia: it’s really good seeing the Cambodian Culture and seeing all the kids have so much fun when we sing and play with them
Rachael: still alive. muwahahaha. Lol.
Zoe: I love going on MSSM with the team and watching them make the kids smile.
Until next time
