Indiana—The Blustery Day

We are all doing well, the team is persevering through bad weather, rude comments, and distracting talent shows. The team is working well together, they call one another out when they are getting distracted or losing focus on the mission at hand.  The souls of those who mock or turn away from the message we are trying to share weighs heavily on our hearts, our prayer is that God will catch them someday down the road. The team has been working at the fairs for three days now and we have done about three hundred and fourteen surveys and seen eleven people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We give God the glory!

Wednesday we had to pack up and leave the fairgrounds because of bad weather, to the joy of the team members with us at the fair we sought refuge in a Mcdonalds. The other teams had to return to Triple T ministries where they worked on verses and played pool and air hockey. They were also able to go over to the subway to get some sandwiches. The team as a whole did well despite the bad weather two groups were able to talk with 9 people at two different fairs. One group was able to return to the fair and completed forty-three surveys, and saw a total of two people accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The world is falling into darkness at what seems like an exponential rate. Sexual immorality is eating away at society, I hear so many conversations that are idolizing sexuality and immorality. I feel a sense of urgency! We must be urgently seeking to grasp men and women from the clutches of the devil.

I Corinthians 6:9-11
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.  And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Romans 13:11
Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed.

“The fairs I have been going too have been really nice. I got to lead someone to Christ at one fair and I have been surveying a lot of people, this camp has been really heart changing, I feel like everytime I go out to the fair I’ll be able to lead someone to Christ. So far it has been really good.”

“We have started going to the fairs to share the good news. I haven’t led anyone to the Lord yet but I have been able to talk to unbelievers. Most however are already Christians, which is awesome and encouraging. Sometimes though I get ticked off that I haven’t led someone to the Lord, but Jesus reminds me of Psalms 27:19 “to wait on the Lord and His timing.”
