It’s a beautiful day in Ecuador – Sunshine and a nice breeze! The team has been working so hard on the new property in Playas. As most of you know, our first week in Ecuador was spent cleaning up the Latacunga property so that Teen Missions can sell it then we moved down to Playas where the new property is located. We are thankful for the church group that came from Ohio just before Boot Camp started. Because of them, today we pour the last columns on the building and walls continue on the far end that will be used for a kitchen and small apartment. We look forward to hearing of the Bible, Missionary, and Work students that will soon use this facility and for the reports of Boot Camps running in Ecuador. It’s exciting to be part of this vision for Ecuador!
Last night the “Big Ecuador” team visited the “Little Ecuador” team and had the opportunity to swim in the Pacific Ocean. There were some pretty big waves to play in. We also enjoyed sharinga meal of Indian Tacos, a nice evening to visit and fellowship with the Preteens.
Some of the team members were pretty excited to get the drama equipment from the Preteen team. Since they are leaving this weekend they will no longer need it. Our former Team Members are going to teach the team a couple dramas to share at church this weekend. As leaders, we enjoy seeing the willingness of our team members to work together and see the excitement they have to share their faith.
