Indiana Team Bold for Christ

The days are quickly diminishing here in the Heartland of America. We only have eight more days at the fairs, with a trip to Holiday World this Monday and a trip to the Ark Encounter the first and second of August we are left with only a few days left to share at the fairs.

The team is growing stronger and stronger everyday. They are getting bolder and exhibiting a hunger and thirst for the word of God. Daily they are asking us questions about the Bible and what God wants for their lives as leaders this is very exciting!

Last week Anthony had the privilege of leading a National Guard representative to Christ! Praise the Lord! Anthony has been very focused on sharing the Gospel with everyone that walks by our tent.

Last night Cory M. had the privilege of leading someone to Christ as well, he is quite the evangelist. Weekly God uses him to lead several people to Christ.

Through the Holy Spirit Satta S. led two people to Christ last night. Satta has been a great example of being bold and courageous about sharing her faith.

Caleb H. also was able to lead someone to Christ last night. He has had several opportunities to help people understand what the Bible is about and what following Christ really means.

Tonight Tonekup did an excellent job talking to two young ladies about the Gospel, and together with my wife Sarah and of course the Holy Spirit they led one of the young ladies to Christ! We are very proud to see how bold Tonekup has become.

Although he hasn’t mastered the English language Nata has been doing a great job asking people to take surveys and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them!

Over the last few weeks the team has surveyed over one thousand people and fifty-five came to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. It’s been quite an exciting time.

Tonight (Friday) was a pretty awesome night, people were saved! Please be praying, the forces of darkness don’t like what we are doing and they are pressing back. We were all praying really hard tonight and we praise God for the lives now touched by His Word.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Ephesians 6:12

Today was also Anthony’s birthday and we are celebrating that and the end of a good week with a late night at Wendy’s!

God is at work in all of our hearts, I’d like to take this time to encourage you as parents or guardians to take time to read and pray. Your children will be returning home and they are going to need all the encouragement they can get. It will be difficult to re-adjust to home life after a missions trip. They will be on a “Spiritual High” and its often difficult coming down from that spiritual mountain.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

“The past week went by fast. All the fairs were bigger than the first couple we went to. One night when my team and I went to evangelize there was a guy that came up and started to preach to all of us. Of course I was in prayer closet so I couldn’t talk or get up to listen to him but I watched him from the chair with a huge smile, he really encourage me and my teammates. But the best fair would have to be Dubois. I handed out so many ABC’s to salvation I was so happy. I can see God working in everyone’s lives because we all used to be was at each others throats but now we are hugging each other and praying for each other. We all can’t wait for Holiday World. One of my leaders Dan, has been able to relate to each other well. Praise God for Dan because he was the reason I opened up on this trip. In total this trip is the best, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.” -Cory M
