For an unforgettable summer adventure, join this team as they share the Gospel of Christ in Botswana and South Africa!
Dates: June 17 – August 11, 2017
Teen Missions Trip (ages 13-19)
Travel: After completing training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport to board a flight to Atlanta, Georgia. A connecting non-stop flight takes you across the Atlantic Ocean and the Equator before arriving in Johannesburg, South Africa. You will then bus one hour north to the Teen Missions in South Africa Bible, Missionary & Work (BMW) Training Center located in Pyramid.
Ministry: The first week will be spent in the country of Botswana where you will be holding open-air meetings using puppets, singing, drama and testimonies. After your time in Botswana, you return to the Teen Missions in South Africa base. Here your team, along with BMW students, will work to finish the construction of the Old Testament Tabernacle to be used in the “African Awakening”. You will prepare to spark an awakening for Christ in Africa as tours of the Tabernacle help to point people to Christ by showing how God used His meeting place to reveal His plan of salvation for mankind. In the afternoons you will assist the staff in teaching children at the Motorcycle Sunday School Mission ministry locations.
Adventure: Enjoy a safari to Pilanesberg National Game Park where you may see cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino, known as the African “Big Five.” Shopping for handcrafted items of wooden animal carvings, canes, brightly colored clothing, baskets and beaded jewelry in the markets will help make this an unforgettable summer!
