The Zambia Team Has Been Busy!

Everything is going well here in Zambia. The team members have been enjoying the cold weather at night and the warm weather during the day. Camryn and Chloe H. did KP (Kitchen Patrol) today. They made cereal in the morning and for lunch, they made egg and sausage casserole. Everyone has been enjoying the food.

After breakfast and devotions, we all went out to a soccer field and played soccer and did a Bible story and taught a lesson for the kids. A couple of the BMW students came and helped us translate. Micah, Lucas, Semaj, Syd M., Abigail, and Elizabeth all played soccer while Grace F., Grace S, Eve, Ali G. and Courtney G. all played with the kids. They all have really enjoyed being with the locals and orphans here. Being with them has shown us so much and we have learned so much from them already. All the girls have been taking a lot of pictures with the locals here and the orphans. The orphans have enjoyed the Bible lessons and the team members have enjoyed putting on their presentations.

Micah – Today we went to a local soccer field. The trip there was very rough because of all the bumps in the road. We went and played soccer with the kids who were around that area. The kids are like little Messis, they are all really good. I love all the people here and the kids, they have all been really nice. Two days ago we went to the BMW devotions they have in the evenings. They sing so well and we sound like a broken trumpet compared to them.

Samuel C. – Today we were able to go to a local field and play soccer with the locals and orphans. There were about 60 kids today and there about 150+ kids yesterday. I had fun singing and helping the kids learn the Bible stories.

Lucas M. – Today we woke up nice and freezing. We had a blast at the soccer fields playing with the African kids. We said Bible verses together. In the evening we sang fun songs and had verses. Our favorite thing to do is to get destroyed in soccer by the locals here.
