Burning For The Lord!

–Burning for the Lord!

Here in Nepal, it has heated up significantly. The sun is shining down and doesn’t give a break. There are rarely clouds in sight for shade. Breaks are necessary throughout the work day to cool the team down. But that doesn’t stop them from doing what the Lord has called them to do this summer! They want to see a difference when we leave in a few weeks on the building they’re starting. We were able to go to the market on Friday (7/14/17) and some of the girls bought traditional clothing. They can’t wait to go back and get more. Two favorite fruits are mangos and pineapples as they are very cheap here.

Please pray for hydration and good health as it is very hot here in Ulabari and that the team will encounter the Lord even more through this experience.
Thank you for your prays thus far!!

Lily- “Nepal has opened my eyes of the things I have. Also the beauty God has created. The sunrise and sunset take my breath away. Also how people may be a different race, gender, and culture. We are all humans in the end!”

Rebekah- “Over the past few weeks in Nepal I have learned to trust God. In pouring rain or burning heat, trust God always.”

Hannah A.- “Nepal is a lot warmer than I expected. I love being able to finally work on site with my team. It’s great to help here.”

Shiloh- “The first couple of days in Nepal were glorious! It was maybe 70°, clouds covered the sky, there was a nice bit of rain every once in a while. Then the sun came. It is now about a million degrees with the sun beating down without a cloud in the sky. The sweet relief of being shaded while eating is amazing. Nepal itself is a beautiful country! The beauty of the mountains is incomparable. I can’t wait to go home and tell everyone about it.”
