News And Pictures From Cambodia!

Greetings from Cambodia!   Our team is finishing up our time here in Kampong Chnnang.  We had our last day of ministry today.  We presented at a nearby school.  There were probably 250 children there.  They were very responsive and did all the motions to the songs with us. The team had a great time with them.  BJ shared his testimony and Anna-Kate shared the Gospel through the colors of the Wordless Book using the Gospel bag.

On Sunday we attended a church service of a local pastor who teaches at our Bible school.  He invited the team when he shared his testimony with us.  He is a survivor of the Khmer Rouge and received Christ as His Savior during that time. He has an incredible testimony.  In the afternoon, we shared our presentation in a nearby village.  The man who hosted us explained that he was the only Christian in his village.  He used to be a Buddhist teacher and served in the temple.  We prayed with him and hope that the seeds we planted will take root and grow in the hearts of the children who heard the Gospel.

Tomorrow we plan to pack and clean up around the property before we leave on Wednesday.  It’s a six-hour journey back to Siem Reap. It will be very hard to leave here.  We have made friendships with the Bible school students and staff here. We will be praying for them as they prepare for their Boot Camp in September.

Parents, you should be very proud of your children. They have been a joy to lead.  They are all willing to help wherever needed.   They have all taken turns sharing the Gospel, sharing their testimony and doing puppets.  They are kind to each other and very respectful to the leaders.  We have such fun laughing together, working together and living together.

We praise the Lord that we have had no sickness or bad Injuries.  Everyone has been so healthy aside from a few coughs and sniffles.  Thank you for your prayers!  They have made all the difference.

We will.post many pictures when we get to Siem Reap and have internet available.  We have been in able to send pictures here due to poor signal strength and wifi is not easily found here.

We send greetings to all our family and friends!

  1. Thank you so much for the updates. They are a blessing and an encouragement to us as we follow our grandson on his journey. Praying that when all the nations, tribes, peoples and languages gather around the throne of God one day, the kids will have the blessing of meeting there some of the children among whom they have been ministering for the past month.

  2. Great news! Praying for those Cambodian Christ followers that you are leaving. May the encouragement you’ve given them be multiplied and last for years to come.
