Dates: June 16 – August 10, 2018
Teen Missions Trip (ages 13-19)
Work & Evangelism
Make a difference this summer by helping others in the village of Peh Inngyi, Myanmar, by providing them with a classroom for education. The country of Myanmar has been closed to outsiders for the last 50 years and 85% of the people are unreached. Will you be the one to go?
Travel: Following your training, you will bus to Orlando International Airport for a flight across the Atlantic Ocean, France and the Mediterranean Sea to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. A connecting flight takes you across the Arabian Sea, India and the Bay of Bengal before arriving in Yangon, the capital of Myanmar. You then bus one-hour to Peh Inngyi.
Ministry: Starting from the foundation, you will be constructing classrooms that will later be filled with students who have been waiting for a long time to study God’s Word in a safe environment. Weekends and afternoons will be spent teaching English or just playing games with the curious onlookers. Puppets, music and drama are a great way to break cultural barriers and to reach the people with the love of Christ.
Adventure: Visit the church and seminary established by Adoniram Judson, the very first American missionary to travel overseas in the early 1800’s. Hop on a steam train for a scenic ride around the city. For shopping in Yangon, visit the Bogyoke Market and get great deals by bartering on items such as brass, wood, jewelry, tapestries, and many precious stones.
Project Expense: $4590 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee
Please note that the projects have been chosen up to a year before they are published. Therefore, projects can change, even at the last minute. Please come with a servant’s heart and be eager to do whatever the mission has a need for, regardless of what was specified. We have been invited back to many places because of our willingness to do whatever is needed. ALL teams are work teams in addition to the project listed. Teams are filled on a first come, first served basis.
Navajo Reservation Experience
“So far during my time here at Teen Missions, I have learned a lot and grown much closer to God. Some of the big things that I have learned are that you can’t carry a team by yourself. Everyone has to participate and work hard in order to accomplish your end goal. Another thing is daily time with the Lord be it in Bible reading or worship music or whatever you want to do. Daily time with God is very important. I can’t wait to continue our work here and see how God reveals Himself to me and my teammates.”

Boot Camp Experience
"Boot Camp is fun, it’s difficult, but it’s worth it! I would encourage ALL of you guys that are hesitant to come to COME! It’s the experience of your life, and it brings you closer to Jesus. I’m thankful to be a part of Boot Camp 2017!”
