The team is making better progress now that some of the needed supplies are in. They have been waiting on supplies to come in on and off. The team always looks forward to seeing the kids at the orphanage. On Sunday, the team really got into the service even though they couldn’t understand the language. After the church service we all enjoyed a meal out. Then we left for the orphanage and enjoyed some time with the kids. The team enjoys exchanging gifts like homemade bracelets and coloring pages with the kids.
The highlights of this trip for me are the church worship, the food, and the weather. The weather is 68 degrees Fahrenheit at night. The food is spicy. Church is a must do once. You definitely need to rely on your team. Christian O.
Ethiopia has been amazing so far! I love all the kids and the whole community. I’ve gotten used to bathing in a bucket, woot woot! Our building has seen progress too. Please pray for health. I miss you guys lots. Elise H.
We have been in Ethiopia for around two weeks, but it feels like it has been so long. I love the people here and the orphans are so amazing and inspiring. We have been to two churches so far and they have been so much fun. I love how different the church services are. I can’t wait to see what the future here holds and I’m going to be sad to go home. Ethiopia has treated me very well and I’m grateful to be able to have this experience. Savannah C.
