The team continues to go out daily to do presentations, wash feet, and give out shoes. In one day over 200 children responded to the Gospel message and over 400 children have responded this week. The team members take turns sharing testimonies and the Gospel message during their presentations. On Tuesday the weather was cold and rainy so the whole team did not go out to a school. David, Claiment, and Enkos were able to drive to a school and still hand out shoes. The team members continue to do well memorizing verses and practice quizzing together.
“We’ve been visiting a different school everyday for the past week. It is so cool to see the joy on the kids faces when they receive their new shoes. We attended church this past Sunday. It is so different than what I’m used to. Zimbabwe is so pretty, but I am ready to see my friends and family. STILL ALIVE, woohoo!” -Ally B.
“Since I’ve been on the mission field I feel that I have grown in my faith. I’ve grown more confident in sharing the Word of God.” -Shannon T.
“Zimbabwe is super beautiful, super cold but beautiful. I enjoy going to the schools five days a week and hanging out with the kids. The roads are super bumpy and the truck rides are a little claustrophobic, but it makes for the experience. I love it here, but I can’t wait to come home. I miss you family and friends!” -Rachel D.
