Spend your summer in Zambia, Africa, where your mission is not only to bring fresh water to a village, but also to bring the Living Water—Jesus Christ!
Dates: June 15 – August 9, 2019
Teen Missions Trip (ages 13-19)
Work & Evangelism Team
Travel: After Commissioning you bus to the Orlando International Airport where you catch a flight to Washington D.C., our nation’s capital. From here you cross the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and over the Sahara Desert to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Your next flight takes you to Ndola, Zambia, where the Teen Missions in Zambia Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center is located. After an overnight at the base, you will pack up supplies and then head out to a remote village that is in desperate need for clean water.
Kenya and Tanzania to Lusaka, Zambia, then you bus to the Teen Missions base in Ndola.
Ministry: At the Lord’s Boot Camp your team will be trained in how to operate a drilling rig like the one you will have in Zambia. Hundreds of children and adults will come running to see what you are doing in their village. This will make it possible for part of your team to be able to share God’s Word through music, puppets, drama, games and testimonies. Many seeds will be planted in the hearts of this eager crowd. You will also be involved in clearing land to be used for soccer fields in the villages where you are drilling.
Adventure: Before leaving Zambia, a trip is planned to Victoria Falls, discovered by David Livingstone in 1855 and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Your team will enjoy a river safari cruise on the Zambezi River, which is the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe where you may see elephants, hippos and other wildlife. Take home souvenirs such as wood and stone carvings, traditional drums, and various kinds of jewelry.
Project Expense: $4590 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee
Please note that the projects have been chosen up to a year before they are published. Therefore, projects can change, even at the last minute. Please come with a servant’s heart and be eager to do whatever the mission has a need for, regardless of what was specified. We have been invited back to many places because of our willingness to do whatever is needed. ALL teams are work teams in addition to the project listed. Teams are filled on a first come, first served basis.
"Throughout this trip, I’ve told myself that I’ll only be in Zambia once in my entire life so I’ve really tried to soak it all up and enjoy it for these last couple of weeks that I’m here for. I’ve truly grown a lot throughout this trip, not only in my faith but just overall."
Sydney C. | 2017 Zambia Team
"We have enjoyed a week of community outreach and now are bussing out to the bush for two weeks. The past few days we have had the opportunity to present in front of the Bible School students and a Zambian Church where we also attended the service. Before that, we attended two of the weekly Sunday schools held by the Teen Missions staff and students. During these events, we played soccer and helped with the lesson. The whole team is excited for this new leg of our journey, and we hope to make a great impact in the AIDS orphans lives.”

“I absolutely love it here. It has been really fun getting to know the people and the culture here. God has really been working within our team. I am really excited to do work in the bush, and to see what God has in store.”
