Greetings in the name wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray this newsletter finds you all well and strong. We are fine and the Lord has been so gracious to us and to the family. We thank God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for the opportunity He has given us to serve Him.
It is always a joy to us to write you and share with you what the Lord is doing in our lives as well as in ministry. We are really grateful for the opportunity the Lord has given us, of all that He could have chosen, also invited us in to serve Him, what a privilege. We do not take our calling lightly but prayerfully we continue to serve with joy.
Sunday School Expansion
Our Zambia Teen Missions Coordinator asked me to lead a team of staff and student interns to the northern part of Zambia to build some more shelters for Sunday school classes. On February 3rd I returned to Kabuta and within a month we were able to build six Sunday school shelters and today our staff are sharing the Word of God to the people in the area and people are coming to know the Lord every week. We are having huge numbers attend these Sunday schools. Last week I got a report that at our Kabuta Sunday school, they had over 800 people there in one day learning the Word of God. Keep us and the staff who are teaching these Sunday schools in prayer so that the Lord would continue to use them to bring many into His kingdom. I’m scheduled to return to Kabuta to build seven more shelters which will allow to reach 22 villages with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lufwanyama Boot Camp
As I write this newsletter, I’m in Lufwanyama area, which is about a four to five hour drive away from home, where I’m running a Boot camp for the orphans. We have 117 orphans and 16 Leaders in camp. In the last six days we have been sharing with them the Word of God and challenging them to give their lives to Christ. Over 74 have prayed to confess Christ as their Lord and Savior. Please keep them in your prayers—that they would grow in the Lord of God. Our camp runs for a month and so we have three more weeks to go. Boot Camp will be over May 2019 and that is when I return home.
Thank you for all your prayer and financial support. Because of your partnership, we continue to serve. We thank you for standing with us over the years. May the good Lord richly bless you.
The Chamas Girl School Needs
We thank you for all your support towards our girls’ education fees and other requirements. They just finished school a week ago; we were blessed to see their grades. Tehillah (Praise), our oldest daughter, is doing grade 11. She had two distinctions and two merits she also had credits in three other subjects. Chimwemwe (Joy) doing 7th grade. She had five distinctions and four merits while Comfort is doing 1st grade and had all distinctions. We are so thankful for all your help in meeting their school needs which many times has been a burden on us as we serve. The total costs for the girls’ school fees is $970 for one year and we would sure appreciate any help toward their school fees. The second term of school starts on May 13, 2019.
We are humbled by your support over the years. We know your support means us continuing to serve the Lord. May God bless and keep you.
