Thomas & Jackie Kabwata Newsletter (Spring 2019)

Greetings to our Family and Friends!

It is always our joy to let you know what is going on in our lives and share what we are doing for the ministry here in Zambia.

BMW Update

Since our last update a lot has happened. Teen Missions in Zambia is doing a  great job. Thomas and I are coordinating the Zambia Bible Missionary Training Center (BMW). We currently have 34 students. Both Thomas and I teach and work with the students, we have various projects to help us in running the base and meet our daily needs.

Agriculture Update

We do gardens—we have 5000 plants of tomatoes ready for harvest. We also have 3,500 heads of cabbage to be harvested in a few months from now and we have planted winter maize as sweet corn. All these projects help us to feed the students and some orphans with no support.

Rescue Unit and Boot Camp Update

Teen Missions has continued to run the Rescue Units in the rural parts of Zambia, helping  orphans and vulnerable kids in supporting them with education, medical programs and relief food . We have multiple Sunday schools where our circuit riders teach Bible lessons, literacy and dispense medications. Teen Missions in Zambia runs four Boot Camps in four provinces of Zambia between December and April. Thomas and I coordinate the large Ndola early Boot Camp with 220 kids. In our camp we have seen many souls come to the saving knowledge of Christ through these Boot Camps. The youth of Zambia have a chance to hear about our Lord and give their lives to Christ. What a joy to labour in His vineyard as the coming our Lord draws near.

Family Update

Our  family is so blessed to serve the Lord with Teen Missions. We have seen God’s faithfulness through the years in providing our needs. Our kids are all in school. Neema is in her third year of high school teaching and training  in religious education and English subjects. Jessica is the 7th grade, eager to learn and studying for her exams at the end of this year—please pray for her. Timothy is in fifth grade where he is an “A+’’ student and wants to be a medical doctor when he grows up. Thom-Greg is in reception and will be in first grade in 2020. We  are  so grateful for the educational support which we receive and which helps our kids to be in school. God bless you for helping our kids realize their dreams and helping us serve the Lord with joy and knowing God provides.

Thank You!

We want to thank you all our supporters and prayer partners. Thanks once again for all your support as we serve the Lord here in Zambia.

Please, when you think about supporting us, don’t hesitate to send our support to our home office which is in Florida and it will safely get to us. You can also donate online at www.teenmissions.org.  A special thanks to Shiloh Mission Board for helping us with school fees for our kids. May the good Lord bless you all our faithful partners in the ministry. We are so grateful for your continuous support. It has been a joy winning souls with you. Great shall be your reward.

In His Vineyard,

Thomas, Jackie, Neema, Jessica, Timothy and Thom-Greg
