Greetings from the Malawi team!
We are so thankful that the team has arrived safely and they are quickly bonding. They already shared a team cheer last night in the evening rally. As a matter of fact, a lot of the kids are way past the first day verse. Boot Camp is an adjustment for everyone and it usually takes a couple of days to get settled in and find your way. It seems like this a group of team members already have good attitudes and they encouraging each other through words and prayer. We are so blessed as leaders!
Today they run the Obstacle Course for the first time. That will create some great team unity. Thank you for entrusting us with your children and supporting what Teen Missions is all about—sending young people into the world to help change the world for Christ! We are looking forward to all that the Lord has in store for our team.
“Boot Camp has been amazing so far! There are great challenges, but facing them with your team is a great growing experience, and I’m loving it!”
“Boot Camp is a whole lot more humid than I ever thought it would be. I’m already having an amazing time though.”
“Boot camp is not as bad as I thought. There is a system for everything to run smoothly. I love being able to grow with my team here. Boot Camp is a good place to have a good time making friends and learning. It’s been fun!”
