Cambodia Has Started Ministry

Hello from Cambodia! We have made it safe and sound and after hours of being in the airplane, we were excited to finally step foot in Cambodia. We arrived tired but we are ready to see what the Lord has planned for us in the following weeks. Today (Wednesday) we went for our very first ministry in a little church outside of Siem Riep. Nelly (the base coordinator) drove us out to the church. At the church Kalista and Emily taught them phonics. Erika and Spencer taught them new games like “Duck Duck Goose”, and “Sharks And Minnows”. The team enjoyed presenting the kids a drama. Please pray that as we go out tommorow to a school that God will teach us how to best present the Gospel to the students there. At the school there will be over 400 children, so we have to find out how best to work with such a large group. Nelly has us busy with many different events, we are excited to see what is in store for us. Saturday we will be going to Ankor Wat and the night market.

On July 9, we will travel down to Kampong Chhnang. There we will be taking motor bikes to the villages and teaching the children phonics and the Gospel.

It is rainy season here in Cambodia so everything is soaking wet. The good thing is that we can hang out wet clothes under the awning so they can dry.

Pleas pray everyone stays healthy while we are here.Pray that God will open doors for spreading the Gospel to the people

  1. Hello Cambodia!
So glad to hear you have started! You are a strong and mighty team, in Him, and we will be praying for wisdom in ministering to 400 children! We know that with God all things are possible. We pray God will reach into each heart and touch each one according to their need! We love you all and miss seeing you in the serving line and at the evening rallies! Let’s do it again next year!
