Greetings from Cambodia! We have had a great first week here in Cambodia. Nellie ( the base coordinator) has kept us very busy this past week with many different ministries. Not only have we been busy with ministry, but Saturday we where at Ankor Wat. The team enjoyed walking about the huge ruined complexes. Saturday evening was spent down at the night market in Siem Reap.
Wednesday and Thursday were spent doing presentations and teaching phonics to the school children. We where able to share the Gospel with them even though it is a Buddhist school. Friday we taught phonics at a church and in the afternoon we started to paint the kitchen and dinning room. Sunday was really busy with the team going to two churches, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. After the second church service, the team went with the Bible school students to a Buddhist orphanage. While there they taught them guitar and performed another presentation.
We are excited to leave early Wednesday to go to the South base near Kompong Chhnang. Pray for safe travels and health as we are ministering in the villages. Also be in prayer for the bikes, that they will all be working. While we are in Kompong Chhnang, we will also be doing odd jobs around the base to help the staff and students. We are happy to help them with whatever they need.
