Teen Missions Trip (ages 13-19)
Work & Evangelism Team
Travel: From Orlando, you will fly to Toronto, Canada and then across the North Pole to Seoul, South Korea. Upon your arrival you will board a bus and travel four hours to the town of Gwangju for your project.
Ministry: Share the love of Christ this summer with the children of South Korea where you will partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship to conduct English camps. Your classes from Boot Camp in phonics, puppets and drama will prepare you to teach English in these week-long camps. You will use familiar games like “Simon Says” and “Go Fish” to develop relationships with these young students and show them how much Jesus loves them. The door is open in Korea to use the English language as a means to talk about your faith through this unique form of evangelism.
Adventure: You may have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Korean culture through a visit to Minsokchon, a Korean folk village. A trip to Seoul will offer opportunities to see Namsan Tower in the center of the city and Gyeonghok Palace where Korean royalty once lived. You will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs like hanbok (a traditional Korean dress), fans and Korea’s famous cosmetics.
Project Expense: $4190 U.S. plus $30 Registration FeeRegister
