Following orientation you fly across the Atlantic to Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. Malawi is often referred to as the “warm heart of Africa”, and you will know why after spending just a brief time with the people. Join Bob & Bernie Bland on a Missionary Vision Team and be stationed at the Chipoka base located on Lake Malawi. Your project at the base will be to build benches and tables to be placed in the Sunday school pavilions. There will be opportunity to see how the Rescue Unit ministry is making a difference in the lives of children when you visit several of the Units in various locations. You will also witness the Motorcycle Sunday School Missions in operation. You will have the opportunity to visit the graves of the first missionary settlement of David Livingstone at Monkey Bay Lake. A trip is planned to the mountain area of Dedza and to the world renowned Dedza Pottery Shop where you can purchase beautiful and unique pottery items.
