Aronson, Emery & Linda

Meet the Aronsons

Emery and Linda Aronson both joined staff in the 1970’s as single people. Linda first joined in 1975 from upstate New York and Emery came from Texas in 1976. They married in 1981 and have two sons, Joseph and Matthew. Linda is a talented bookkeeper and has worked in the Finance Department since she joined staff over 30 years ago. Emery has experience with operating heavy equipment and is currently working in the Print Shop. He has also traveled thousands of miles on the road driving a Teen Missions bus and is a licensed CDL instructor for Teen Missions. Emery and Linda are long-term staff members; the founders are the only people who have been on staff longer. Each summer, Emery and Linda serve as part of Summer Staff, taking care of headquarter responsibilities while the teams are on the field. Linda also helps coordinate the Mustard Seed program for four to six-year-olds.

Missionary News

  • Emery & Linda Aronson Newsletter (Fall 2017) October 6, 2017 Greetings Once again summer has come and gone. I enjoyed my time being a leader with the Mustards Seeds, this year with Aiden. The theme was “Kings and Queens” and he made a very good king. We studied about kings like David, Saul, Joash, Jesus and a queen named Esther. We talked about good ones and bad ones and what would be the right thing to do in the sight of the Lord. Missionary stories were told by “real missionaries” from ...
  • Emery & Linda Aronson Newsletter (Spring 2017) June 5, 2017   What a joyous time it was to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday morning! Remembering this has brought so much joy to me, especially since my mother went home to meet Jesus on April 27. I have no doubt that I will see her again and despite the grief, I KNOW I will see her again. Mom had been going downhill physically and mentally the past few months. We had her in an assisted living facility, ...
  • Aronson, Emery & Linda Newsletter (Winter 2017) February 13, 2017 Keeping UP with the ARONSONS Greetings! A new year has started again.  Thanksgiving was a time we can be thankful for many things.  Christmas was a time we could be with family. I (Linda) was able to stay overnight at the grandkids’ house so when they woke up in the morning I could see the looks on their faces as they checked out Santa's gifts that were not wrapped.  Oh, did I mention it was 5:45 a.m.?  When we get together to ...
  • Aronson, Emery & Linda Newsletter (Fall 2016) November 8, 2016  Dear Friends and Family, In May, Emery helped drive the bus to get the life-size replica of the Tabernacle set up in Indiana.  He was able to do a few supply pick-ups on the trip, one of which was canned meat.  On the way back to Florida there was another bus heading north to Ohio to attend Bernie's funeral, which he transferred to. As you may know, our Director’s wife, Bernie Bland passed away on May 12.  It was a very ...
  • Aronson, Emery & Linda Newsletter (Winter 2016) February 17, 2016 Greetings:Happy New Year!  Praise the Lord we are almost finished with all the repairs and putting things back together from the lightning strike on our house.  The insurance company paid for the hotel where we stayed until repairs were made and most of the appliances that were damaged.  We are thankful for the way the Lord protected us, supplied our needs and showed us that He is in control and He has everything under HIS control.  We have had some ...
  • Aronson, Emery & Linda Newsletter (Fall 2015) October 22, 2015 Greetings!40—What does that number mean?…Keep reading…..Ava has graduated from preschool and is now in kindergarten.  Aiden stood by the door and did not want Ava to leave him; but of course he had no choice but to let her go to school. She is a busy girl and loves school and all the things she gets to do and learn.  She is like a sponge and soaks everything up.I have had trouble with my eyes, but in the spring I ...
  • Aronson, Emery & Linda Newsletter (Winter 2015) February 6, 2015 Greetings Friends and Family, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love all the things that go with it: lights, real trees, music, family get togethers and the faces of the grandkids when they see all the presents. But we know that the real reason for the season is Jesus. It is so sad to see so many people get caught up in the “things of Christmas” that they forget whose birthday it really is. Our Christmas celebration began ...
